Step by Step Guide to Register Your Alphanumeric Sender ID in Vietnam

 

Introduction: 

The Purpose of the below article is to describe the requirements for an Alphanumeric Sender ID pre-registration across all operators in Vietnam following the local regulatory requirements.

Registration Process

To register your Alphanumeric Sender ID for all networks in the Vietnam, it requires that you provide the following documents depending on your registration criteria: 

• BM02 Direct Client to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM03 Direct Client to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM02 End Client to Aggregator_Authorised Agent

• BM03 End Client to Aggregator_Authorised Agent

• BM02 Aggregator_Authorised Agent to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM03 Aggregator_Authorised Agent to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM04 Direct Client to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM05 Direct Client to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM04 End Client to Aggregator_Authorised Agent

• BM05 End Client to Aggregator_Authorised Agent

• BM04 Aggregator_Authorised Agent to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

• BM05 Aggregator_Authorised Agent to 8x8 International Pte Ltd

  • Notarised version is required if it is neither in English nor Vietnamese

To ensure that your SID registration goes smoothly and to reduce the turnaround, please, complete each document accurately with all the required information. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• For Non-Local entities, please retain the tick under "others' and do not remove "Customer Care".

• Do note that this only applies to OTP and Notification registration requests, it does not affect the process for Marketing.

• All new contents needs whitelisting

Registering Sender ID as Non-Local in Vietnam

Information to provide together with documents:

1. Sender ID
2. Content
3. Website

Additional Requirements for eCommerce:

1. Domain License
2. Screenshot of VNNIC for domain
3. A clickable Ministry Trade logo must be included at the bottom of website
4. Payment methods such as VISA, MASTER must be included in the website

Additional Requirements for Insurance:

1. Certificate to work on Insurance/Finance criteria. issued by The Ministry of Finance

Additional Requirements for Bank:

1. License for loan and credit operation issued by
   • State Bank of Vietnam and
   • Ministry of Finance Operation license to provide intermediary payment service

Additional Requirements for Education:

1. School establishment license
2. School's principal appointment license
3. 2-sided ID card of School's principal
